Staff Transition
It is with reluctance that I have accepted the resignation of Kingsley Genaille, our Families Ministry and Communications Coordinator. Kingsley has been an invaluable part of the St. Mary’s team, and their presence will be deeply missed. Their final Sunday with us will be on August 17th, the Feast of St. Mary’s—a fitting occasion to celebrate their contributions to our community. While we are excited for Kingsley as they take on a new role better suited to their full-time studies, it is hard to imagine St. Mary’s without them. Their dedication has shaped our church in meaningful ways, and we are profoundly grateful for their faithful service. To share our appreciation, I can’t think of a better way than folks committing to help sort children and youth ministry supplies; we have so much that needs to be cleaned and organized, and many hands will lighten the work. The date of the Parish Clean-Up Day is aligned with a Pro-D day with the hopes that we may even have some families join us in the fun. So save the date for April 28th! A message from Kingsley is included below.

A Letter to the Parish, from Kingsley
After much prayer and discernment, I’ve made the difficult decision to resign from my position as Family Ministry and Communications Coordinator, effective at the end of August. By then, I will have served in this role for nine years—and if you count my years as a volunteer, I’ve been connected to this parish for more than half my life.
St. Mary’s has been my spiritual home since I was 14, and I’m now 31. You have profoundly shaped me—spiritually, personally, and professionally. I am immensely grateful for all we’ve shared: the laughter, the learning, the worship, the tears, and the growth. This parish helped me discern my call to the priesthood, and I will never forget the love and support you’ve offered along the way.
I’ve accepted a new position at St. Catherine’s that will be more conducive to attending school full-time and will help broaden my parish experience. While this next step is exciting, it is bittersweet to say goodbye to a place and people I dearly love.
Thankfully, we still have five more months together. For now, just know that I love you all deeply, and I’m so thankful for the ways you’ve shaped my journey.
With gratitude and love,
~ Kingsley Genaille
