Volunteer Opportunity: Family Ministry

Family Ministry needs more volunteers, who can commit varying levels of time. Here are a few ideas of how you might help. Kingsley will have more suggestions on Sunday at Coffee Hour, and they are also open to brainstorming ideas with you.

  • Folks to lead Sunday School in the Summer (supervise children whilst they do craft assembling, colouring, play, and lead a prayer. Minor set up and clean up). Preferably folks could cover at least one Sunday or two.

  • Folks to help cover the Nursery (involves supervising children, setting up the space and taking down the space -- which requires some heavy lifting)

  • Folks to monitor and maintain Children's soft space in the Sanctuary

  • Folks to pray for our young people.

  • Folks to prepare meals

  • Teach Sunday School in the Fall (teach Godly Play lesson, supervise children, setting up and cleaning up space)
