Staffing Transitions
Letter from the Rector – Staffing Transitions
Dear friends,
I’m disappointed to share that Regan, our Verger, has issued his resignation from his position at St. Mary’s. His last day with us will be April 1st. He let me know of this decision a couple of weeks ago, but we have been trying to tie up some loose ends before making a public announcement of this transition. His last Sunday with us will be Easter Sunday, and we will have cake at coffee hour to celebrate his service here at St. Mary’s. I will forever be grateful for Regan’s ability to enter St. Mary’s on the edge of COVID and help us navigate full reopening to user groups as well as community meals. His leadership as a volunteer in getting community meals restarted after its COVID hiatus has been a huge gift to the community, and his recent work to expand St. Mary’s feeding ministries and no/low barrier access to food has expanded our neighbourhood ministries in new and exciting ways. We wish him all the best in his next adventure! Corporation, Staff and I are working on a transition plan and will update the parish shortly.
Blessings,
Lindsay
