Being Christ, Seeing Christ

Fall Study Group “Being Christ/Seeing Christ”
Starting Tuesday, October 8th, 7:30-8:30pm

This fall, we are offering a 5-week Zoom study series called “Being Christ/Seeing Christ” at 7:30pm on Tuesday evenings from Oct.8th to Nov.5th. Hospitality and welcome are key parts of living as a follower of Christ and are essential spiritual disciplines for us, both in our own lives and as a community of faith. As Christians, we are called to see the image of Christ in everyone we meet.  And as Jesus tells us, ‘whatever we do to others we are doing to him’ (see Matthew 25:40). Jesus offered radical hospitality to people regardless of who they were, and so too are invited to do so as his ‘hands and feet’ in this world.

Over the 5 weeks, we will explore what it means to be radically welcoming of everyone and how we might ‘meet people where they are’. Everyone is welcome to join us for this time of exploration and discussion!  Talk to Roberta for more information or to let us know you are interested in participating (click to email her).
